In contrast, young chimpanzees are often alone and they are more vulnerable to attacked from others. This contradicts the reading passage's claim that bonobos do not attack young bonobos but the chimpanzees often take aggressive actions to youngs. Third, the lecturer says that the chimpanzees prefer to eat fruit over meat. The only reason why chimpanzees eat meat is, people destroyed their territories by developing the lands. Thus, if bonobos are limited to the same environments, they might eat meat, too. This opposes the reading passage's claim that bonobos are vegetarian but chimpanzees eat meat and they often stalk and kill prey. Nowadays, more and more books are published and people read books for many purposes, such as improve their various skills, relax themselves.
Thus, some people might think that people learn more by reading books than by watching television. However, in my opinion, people would learn more by watching TV rather than by reading books. There are several reasons: Televisions would give more vivid impressions to people. Also, many people prefer to watch TV when they are free. To begin with, televisions would give more graphic impressions to people. It means that, when we read books, sometimes we don't really understand what the authors want to express. For example, we cannot understand what does the sentence mean. Also, when we read scientific papers, sometimes readers would not remember the things even with the pictures. In contrast, if we get some information by watching televisions, we could wholly understand and watch the objects. When we watch movies or plays, we could understand the meanings, too. For example, when I read a famous novel called "Gone with the Wind" , there were some sentences that I couldn't entirely understand. That's because, I didn't have much information about the background. However, once I watched the movie, I almost understood what did the author want to
express. Second, many people prefer to watch tv rather than read books. It means that, people could contact more with tv than books. Therefore, people would be influenced more by televisions rather than books. In addition, there are various programmes and people could choose what they want to watch. Even if people want to get some information about historical events, they could fully understand them by watching TV. For instance, I often studied difficult subjects by watching TV. On Sunday, I was sitting in front of the television and watched the programme which told some famous historical events to people. Before I watched this programme, my history grade was really low. However, it covered most of the events that I should know, and it helped me get higher scores in histroy. To sum up, some people would prefer to read books over watch televisions because they could read books with calm. However, in my opinion, people would learn more by watching television than by reading books because televisions offer more vivid pictures and it might give deeper impressions to people. Also, many people would watch TV and learn from it.
