Speech 101

Hello, Good Afternoon fellow students, Professor Williams. I am here today to introduce my friend Yamilka Regalado. We had met in class during the fall 2012 semester and quickly became great friends. We shared many same interests as the term progressed. I want to speak to you guys about the topic of companionship and how important it is to our overall being. Yamilka owns two poodles by the names of Daphne and Princess. I myself own a Pomeranian name Charles. With a show of hands, who here owns a pet? Yamilka loves her two dogs so very much. To her mother they are also a great part of the family. They say that a dog is a man’s best friend. This is indeed true, during the good and the harsh times they will always be there for her no matter what. A mystical bond can be said. This is very important and thus dictates the love she shares with them. Through time one slowly builds a bond, a specific connection with their dogs. This lasts for a lifetime. Princess and Daphne were adopted from the A.S.P.C.A which is an organizational center for pets who have been neglected and have no home to turn to. Whether it maybe a connection with a friend, a relationship or whatever it maybe. We can all agree on that the bond that you share with each other is indifferent; it possesses a special meaning that only you and your partner can understand. True friendship is built on trust, happiness, and strength. It may be hard to come by but when you do find it. Always cherish it. Thank you.

My mom was constantly jabbering on the phone, my dad’s eyes were glued to his computer working, and my brother was stuck to his bed and never got up. My brother, Danny had gotten into Syracuse University a few months earlier and he was ecstatic about the life he was going to make for himself. Danny and I got along well our whole lives, but we weren’t as close as some other siblings. This upset me because sometimes all I wanted to do was talk to my brother and get his advice. I have three dogs. My dogs Sadie, Tootsie, and Lucky are cuddly and soft toy poodles.…

Doesn’t everyone just hate snoring? You have to agree with me that when you are awake at night and you are with some one that snores it is the most irritating thing in the world as half the time it is impossible to get back to sleep. Without a doubt if I succeed today snoring is most definitely going into room 101. The one and only major natural thing that really could make you sleep hell has to be stupendous, snotty snoring. When you awake the next day you are like a drowned rat as your body has not recovered at all from last night and therefore will completely ruin the day ahead. Why when we evolved were we given the power to snore? Half the time you want to get the person who is snoring and shake his body to bits just like a rattle. Or even cover his face in cold water to let the person feel what it is like not to be able to sleep. You know that snoring has just got to go in room 101 to save us from dreadful, irritating snoring!…
