Essay
Obesity in children has increased over the last few years. Some people suggest more time at school should be devoted to sporting activities. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this.
Obesity is an increasing controversial issue in the western countries among the children. People feel that schools should motivate the pupils to participate in the sport activities. So that, they can become more punctual as well as avoid bad company. However, children will be weak in study.
The first positive point is that if the children take part in the sporting activities they can know, how they can use their time in the future .They also know about the self-discipline. Furthermore, they can learn proper schedule system, it plays a significant role in the children life. If they follow their schedule in life, they can do everything on time like eating habits and exercise.
The second benefit of devoting the children to sport activities is that they become more healthy and active because they have no extra time for adopting bad habits. For instance, if they free after the school time, they will meet their friends and copy of them. It may be wrong for them like smoking or drinking. Otherwise, they eat healthy diet, they can lose their weight and will be fit.
On the other hand, it will be distract the students mind from the study because of tiredness. If they take part in sport competition they will busy in the practice session. They feel annoyed at home. So they do not do anything at home, just eat and go sleep. With this they can put more weight instead of losing weight.
To conclude, if schools provide the sporting activity service to the children they will more sincere about their life-style and also become good man. Moreover, if they have good habits, they can maintain their standard and reputation in the society. However, it may have bad effect, they cannot concentrate on their education during

    Physical activity is important to the short term and long term health and well being of children. In the short term physical activity helps children to build muscle, develops the skeletal frame, develops the heart and lung function and helps to prevent obesity. If children have enough physical activity a day which is said to be up to an hour it can help the children get to sleep easier and for longer periods of time, this can then lead onto long term benefits as if the activity is in the garden it will also help the child to build up a good immune system so they will be less likely to fall ill to the common cold or the flu. If when children are young they do take part in physical activity it is likely that they will become obese later on in their life which in turn could end up with them getting serious diseases such as type 2 diabetes, cancer or heart diseases, it could also result in girls having osteoporosis later on in their life. Recent studies are showing that children who have lack of physical activity in their child hood show early signs of heart disease by the time they reach the age of just 12 years old.…
