A life partner as it is defined is the counter part for any human being. If I’m asked whether I’d want to look for something special in the woman I’m going to spend my life with, I’d definitely say yes. For me, each and every individual needs somebody to complete himself or, herself. And that someone just can’t be any random person. To live together you need to love, and to love you need the hearts to connect. A heart is tender only when it finds the desired personnel that it was looking for a lifetime. So, it is obvious that if you are willing for a life to live happily ever after you need to choose the right person that fits into your world. Every person has his own way of leading the life. So, we just can’t expect anyone to come into our life and adjust with each and every detail of our life. For me, I just want someone who is capable enough to understand a few words. And these are Understanding, Family, Sacrifice, Compromise and Responsibilities. Because, all these things together make a bond and if you get that bond between hearts your love will surely become a legend!!

Understanding:
In my opinion understanding is the base for any relationship. And it is also true that trust is more important. But sometimes we ignore the truth only because of misunderstanding. And that time it automatically points to the word Trust. But if I understand my spouse well then she would have no fear to share whatever annoying thing she might have

It is not uncommon for people to say that relationships are based upon trust. Although love alone plays a major role in a successful relationship, obstacles found within trust boundaries are often tested and played out. It is equally important to express your self-disclosure as it is to receive your partners. Communication can either make or break a relationship depending on how far one is willing to trust the other. After reading “Can We Talk? Researcher Talks About the Role of Communications in Happy Marriages” and reviewing on my own personal relationship status, I am in conclusion that good communication between interpersonal relations are key to a successful relationship/marriage.…

The close relationships sometimes mask poor communication article was a very interesting article to read. It provided valuable insight on the communication issues among individual’s spouses, parent, children and other love ones close to them. As I read through the article I agreed completely with the assumption some have on understanding what the love one is saying or implying and vice versa. When in all they find themselves getting upset when the point is not getting across and sometimes causing conflict to spark between them. Due to the closeness in relationships between love ones they feel as if they know what the other person is thinking or feeling. When in actuality you or the love one should be really listening to what it is that is being said. It seems more convenient to our relationships and lives that we always understand or know exactly what our love one is thinking or wants. Believing this in my opinion is the reason why there is such poor communication among close relationship.…

Reflecting on this article, I agree with its contents. As we get closer in a relationship, we dismiss the fact that we could be misunderstood by each other on certain situations or certain scenarios. “Getting close to someone appears to create the illusion of understanding more than actual understanding” (Health Day 2011). When this happens, we can become angry with the spouse because we expected them to understand what we meant or said. As couples, we want to believe that we are on the same page all the time because we are so close. Whether we are face to face, back to back, in another room, or on the phone with each other, misunderstanding can and will happen without further questioning from the other spouse. When something is said, it is the other spouse’s responsibility to make sure they are clear in what they are hearing. Without this tactic, there will be misinterpretations between the spouses. This creates unhealthy communication between the spouses.…

Growing up, there was a fascination about finding the perfect soul mate. To me, love was represented in different times in my life, it went from being a kid, and cartoons saying that one day prince charming will find you. To teen years of "The Breakfast club," saying that you will find love in the same surrounding and it will be distinct and interesting. To an adult and "Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind," telling you that your lives will cross paths and love will be so hurtful, one day you will want to completely erase the memories from your mind. They all play out various situations that can be true to different people, but slowly I believe we all come to a realization that in reality, good relationships are hard to come across by, and even when…

    1. Gerald Tremain, the husband of Janet Tremain, the director of San Benito County’s Child Protection Services, had been convicted in Oregon, in 1984, of raping his then seven year old daughter every week for six months. The family moved to California, where he did not register as a sex offender as is required by law. In 1991 the grand jury was investigating Janet Tremain for supposed unprofessional conduct that put abused children at risk. Janet resigned from her job and it became known that Gerald Tremain was again molesting his daughter. Janet also admitted that she knew of the situation and did not report it. The final decision of the newspaper was to report the story about the grand jury investigating the allegations of unprofessional conduct by Janet and in an attempt to protect the daughter; they identified her only as a “relative” to Gerald.…

Trust is the key to any relationship. If you don't have trust then your relationship will not last very long. So my perfect mate must have trust in me and visa versa. If she tells me she's going over her friend's house or is working late then I don't want to have any doubt that's exactly what she is doing. If I want to go out and hang out with the guys one night she wouldn't have any problem with it.…

Trust is the very thing that everybody in this world desires, or at least should desire from one another. Who wants to have a friendship or relationship without trust? Nobody does. Without trust, there is no friendship, and without friendship, there is no love. I believe that trust is an even greater compliment than to be loved! I believe George Macdonald said it best when he stated "To be trusted is a greater compliment than to be loved." When I read this quote for the first time, I thought to myself, "Wow that is so true. How can you be loved if you are not trusted first?"…
