Some characteristics about Squealer are that he had very round cheeks, twinkling eyes, an he also had a really high pitch voice, that is why they called him Squealer. He had a charming personality and liked to tell lies. A couple of examples when he told lies is when he changed or broke the seven commandments, he also had the ability to persuade others. The only reason he got away with his lies was because he was a pig. The narrator also said Squealer was the most clever pig out of them all. They said that Squealer “could turn black into white”. Without Squealer the other animals would not have been brainwashed into following Napoleon’s beliefs. If it was not for Squealer, Napoleon probably would not have had power in the book. Squealers two mottos are “I will work harder” and “Napoleon is always right.” The reason he used those mottos was to show loyalty and to impress the commander, Napoleon.
