Even though the day was not living up to my expectations, I was still having a wonderful time with my significant other. I asked if I could take his picture next to Lake Sagatagan and he, somewhat reluctantly, agreed. After snapping shots of a few different poses, Chase pointed toward a small clearing and the two of us sat down on a fallen tree trunk. I smiled as he draped his arm around my shoulders. When I first visited St. John’s it was a place to make memories with my family. As I grew a bit older, I developed a serious love for photography while walking around the trails. Now, St. John’s also carries a greater meaning. It represents past and upcoming life changes. Since my very first visit, I have lost and gained friends and family members, have learned multiple tough lessons, and have determined who I am and who I want to become.
