St Logistics
ST Logistics Pte Ltd (STL) is a company that deals in Contract Logistics & freight management.
It started off in 1983 when they are awarded SAF logistics contract by MINDEF (Singapore Ministry of Defence) managed by Army Logistics Base (ALB)

The Function of ST Logistics is to outsources purchasing and storage by ABL. It also acts as the contact point between ALB and suppliers

In 1999 STL merged with SembCorp Logistics and in the year 2005, STL was acquired by Toll Group (Australia).

Strategy 1: IT system * Control movement and storage of goods. * Manage the warehouse management system. * Reduce the inventory error and to avoid over stocking * To provide monthly report * Making payment thru the Enterprise System (ES)

Strategy 2: Location

* Previously ST Logistics store was located all around Singapore * Moved to one centralised building located at Choa Chu Kang in the North West of Singapore * New location is easily access to expressway etc (KJE / BKE / PIE / AYE / TPE / KPE) * More convenient when delivery had to be done to customer

Strategy 3: Storage

* ST Logistics is using Auto Storage Retrieval System (ASRS), Very narrow Aisle (VNA) for racking system and mobile racking. * It is Semi-automatic, efficient, accurate and reliable * -------------------------------------------------
It helps to Reduce labor cost, Floor space saving, Time savings, Accurate tracking of stores

Its current headquarter are located at Vevey, Switzerland.
Nestle is a World’s leading nutrition , health and wellness Company producing some of the best brands such as KIT KAT, Nescafe, etc.
