The most useful sources we got were from the “Letters and Papers from Prison” which showed us what Dietrich Bonhoeffer learned and went through during his time in prison.

Our topic fits in with the Taking a Stand theme for the competition because we chose an important part in history where someone took a stand during a time where there was no such thing as courage and bravery. That person was Dietrich Bonhoeffer who was a german who took a stand against one of his own race “Hitler”. We all know Hitler as the person who caused so much harm and suffering to millions of innocent lives. This was a scary time to stand up.
