“Starry Night” did not possess the ability to she individual detail that a sculpture would possess, however, it possesses a unique set of details. Van Gogh used a multitude of colors to help build the complexity of the piece. A variety of colors were incorporated which ultimately differentiate the moods between the sky, stars, and village. The sky was illuminated with a variety of deeps blues and indigos, but offset with the bright yellows and whites to represent the stars in the sky. On the left side stood a massive cypress tree demonstrated with several dark browns and lighter browns and golds that ascend with the groves of the branches. On the bottom, right side is a small village. This village is full of small homes with individual details and colors that eventually blend with the trees and rolling mountains in the background. As van Gogh was creating this masterpiece he included his views from his rooms, memories, and emotions. When all of these factors came together van Gogh was
