Statement of Purpose for Msc Management
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. Without leaps of imagination, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning. Hailing from a business family, expectations are high from me that I would equip myself to enter the family business and take it to newer heights. I feel that I have the ability to face the challenges in order to prove myself.

India is home to thousands of entrepreneurs and I just do not want to be one of them, I want to be the one who can make the difference. I feel excited and motivated when I see how successful entrepreneurs have contributed to the economy of India. India needs more skilled innovators who can create and launch cutting-edge products and services to keep India at the forefront of the technological tide. However we don’t have many first rate entrepreneurial programs. Your University holds exciting events with venture capitalists and entrepreneurs, offering networking opportunities and firsthand experience that I plan to take full advantage of to extend my learning. I feel that I have the required aptitude in business and enterprise. I have always had a special interest in Business, and I feel confident that by taking up this profession I will be able to achieve my eventual goal in life, that is, to be a successful entrepreneur.

As I understand, this program will hone my managerial skills and help me develop an aptitude for conducting international business. Hence it will give me an opportunity to build up my global business perspective, as well as offer me a platform to indulge with people of diversified backgrounds. Besides, this fast paced program would help me optimize my resources. The focused learning environment will encourage knowledge and skill development above and beyond normal classroom learning. The school’s location in one of the cosmopolitan cities in the world would enhance my career progression, thus bringing me closer to my objective.

I wasn’t terribly sure what I wanted to do with my life, nor did I have any idea how to get where I thought I wanted to be. My relative lack of passion wasn’t seen as a deterrent in my affluent Texas town, though, as it was a place where nearly all high school students went on to college—it was the only option we really considered or that was presented to us by our families, teachers, and counselors as a post-graduation plan. So I began the requisite search by looking first at nontraditional college environments, for while I had done reasonably well at my large and impersonal public high school, nor had I flourished either. It seemed to me that if I was going to spend the next four years of my life in school, I might as well try a different tactic than the one that had allowed me to coast rather unremarkably through high school.…

Given that most universities I saw had Mandarin titles, I was startled when I saw one named after an American city. After some research and talk with local residents, I had realized the outstanding opportunities for global interaction students are receiving on campus. Interested in business myself, I was satisfied to know that Stern also offers these opportunities to students their junior year through the ISP program to gain a first-hand approach of learning international economies and trade. Because of this, Stern oversteps the boundaries of the traditional classroom setting. With Wall Street just a few turns away, students can also secure internships at some of the most world-renowned businesses. I hope to apply the global experience I earn to international marketing, and take the connections I make with me wherever I…

From a school point a view, the McGill’s Desautels faculty of management is not only one of the best business schools in Canada but it also consistently stands, in the various business schools rankings, among the best business schools in North America despite the extremely tough competition of all the famous private United States universities. Having a chance to study in this very institution for an entire academic year is a unique opportunity for any student in business administration and management. Desautels’ academic program is also really impressive with a huge variety of interesting courses, especially, for a student interested in international commerce because the xxxxx University unfortunately does not offer international business courses for the bachelor degree. I selected one for my elective course “Strategies for developing countries”, course that I would really enjoy to attend.…
