While waiting for a bus in 2014, 2 undercover/plainclothes police officers approached Humberto and accused him of selling drugs. After some discussion they decided he was not selling drugs but instead littering. The officers then gave Humberto the choice of receiving a ticket or being brought down to the police station, he chose the ticket. In protest, Humberto didn’t pay his fine nor did he appear in court. This resulted in a failure to appear charge which caused a littering ticket to become a $2,600.00 fine. After receiving correspondence informing him of his penalty, Humberto still did not go to court because he felt it would be useless since he did not have the $2,600.00.…
There are many things that I want to get out of attending Boiler Vet Camp. In general, I just want to get more information about the veterinary medical profession. I have an idea of what it takes to become a veterinarian or veterinary technician, just through the information I received at 4-H Roundup. However, I would like to learn more about what it takes to become a veterinarian or veterinarian technician. From everything to the dorm room, the food, and the vet school, I am hopeful that I will get a genuine experience of what college life is like for a veterinary medical student through attending Boiler Vet Camp. I would like to experience what it's like to be a veterinarian through hands-on activities and demonstrations. Another thing I…
120th Infantry Brigade is a phenomenal assignment to receive. I am able to accomplish so much within my realm of responsibilities as a flight medic. The Brigade functions very well as is but there is always room for improvement as many leaders in the Army would say. I believe the best improvement that could be made in the Brigade is utilizing all the functioning Battalions to accomplish multi-echelon and multi-organizational training. This would provide broad-spectrum training for our training audiences and would replicate real world situations that are found in today’s modern battlefields.…

Programs are reinforced by the work of needs assessments. It is essential to preform needs assessments in order to enhance the program and meet the needs of a targeted population. Conducting a needs assessment for a program will allow researchers to put in the time, effort, and resources where needed, to emphasize the programs assets. Needs assessments will provide programs with better outcomes and services to all populations (Astramovich, 2011). Needs assessments are conducted in four stages, which include identifying goals, identifying population being assessed, collect needs data assessment, and analysis and interpretation of data (Astramovich, 2011).
