The title of the story I’m writing about is “Secrets in the Shadow,” by Stephanie Perry Moore. The story is a comedy and tragedy because the outcome is not well ended. The story is mainly about a boy named Roylin who has a crush on a girl named Korrie. He wants to impress her with a gift but he has no money to buy it for her. The story starts off with Roylin meeting Korrie for the first time when she showed up to his class, neither did he know that she liked him as much as he liked her. They started talking for a while and they soon started dating. Cooper made it seem like he was dragging a body down to the basement so he could bury it but really it was some rocks and some other thing to make it seem like it was a body.
Cooper played the game for a while making Roylin work for no reason because really he Burley03 was transferred to a nursery home. Roylin felt real bad and finally decided to give in, he really wanted to go to the cops but his mouth wouldn’t let the words come out his mouth. Toward the end of the story Roylin finds out that Mr. Miller was alive and he was really upset with Cooper but they kept their friendship.
