When we grow older there is bigger consequences for the actions somebody gives. King says “When we hug our rotten sister you get covered treats like chocolate-covered graham crackers, but when you slam the rotten sisters finger in the door you get angry remonstrance from parents, aunts and uncles; instead of a chocolate-covered graham cracker, a spanking” (King). When we ensure wicked stuff, we acquire relief for the insane inside of us. We all have our ways to relieve, and some people just do it crazy. According to King “anti-civilization emotions don’t go away, and they demand periodic exercise” (King). As long as everybody keeps the insanity relieving at a lower scale, there would be no major consequences. Some people kill to feed their insanity. Exercising someone’s emotions accordingly keeps them out of trouble, and stress free.
Stephan King is right when he implies we are all mentally ill. It is a matter of how someone handles the insanity, and how to process it mentally. Some people hide it better than others, keeping them from prison. Riding roller coasters, or watching scary movies feeds the insanity inside all of us.
