Stereotypes Analysis

There are a lot of stereotypes about Arabs and Muslims in the United States throughout history until our present day. As I seen in the documentary film and also from my previous knowledge this stereotypes are always in growth. In most of the western countries cultures with the United States being one of them have that view that Arabs and Muslims are ignorant, reactionaries, and uncivilized. This kind of stereotypes always made life very miserable and difficult for Arab and Muslim American to live in this country. The media have been demonizing Arabs and Muslims for long time. Even though this is the case, there are always rooms to defeat stereotypes through educated people and specially this generation who really understands the consequences
The plan is already set when the disney Company produces hundreds of animated movies to program little kids minds and make them ready for the stereotypes and hatred against Arabs and Muslims. For example, Palestinians are referred as killers and terrorists by most Americans. They feel it’s okay when Palestinians get killed by bombing their cities by the Israeli army. Most Americans always justify the bombing of Palestinian cities by saying “Palestinians attacked first and Israel have the right to protect its people by bombing cities in Palestine. One particular example can be the Ghaza Stip that’s governed by Hamas which is considered to be labeled as a terrorist organization. This region is under a military attack campaigns and economic sanctions by the Israeli government for long time. But the United States as a country of a human rights is not concerned when it comes to the Palestinians. Children, women, and elderly are the ones who are suffering from the sanctions and military attack campaigns when the United States is a side with the Israeli government and support all their actions.
