Men are always getting paid more than women for doing the same job. It’s worse for a woman of color. According to The American Association of University Women (AAUW) “Asian American women’s salaries show the smallest gender pay gap, at 90 percent of white men’s earnings. Hispanic women’s salaries show the largest gap, at 54 percent of white men’s earnings.” It isn’t fair for the women that are working just as hard as men to get paid less just for their gender or their race. Women work just as hard as men maybe even more. They should be treated equally. They earn more college degrees than men. But then again they still earn less than men. This world would be a better place if people were treated equally. No matter what you are or where you come from, it would only be fair. People deserve all the respect. How would this world be without stereotyping genders? It would be a better place to live on. People would have more opportunities, no matter what their genders are. Women would actually strive for more knowing that they get treated just as equally as men. Nobody would feel like the outcast for being themselves. I think men and women would have a better connection if they were treated the same because they can relate what they do as a living without being any different. Women can actually prove men wrong by doing all the things that men usually do, with no problem. Just because a man usually does a specific thing doesn’t mean a woman can’t do it. They can do it, and if they do they might even do it better. Don’t let appearances deceive
