Storm Water Research Paper

Many on-site storm water treatment technologies have been developed throughout the world. On-site storm water management devices typically receive storm water runoff from small-scale impervious areas such as individual lots and aim to temporarily detain runoff whilst simultaneously removing contaminants from the fluid. These treatment technologies are generally mechanical in nature, and utilise baffles and filters to physically treat the storm water.
This section will describe the general treatment processes and effectiveness of different manufactured storm water treatment devices.
