Summary
A DESTINY TO CHOOSE is a Role Playing Game for the PC and serves as an introduction or origin presentation of the character Netjeri in the World of Yîara. This game is used as a demo how to implement class selection into the story.
The central topic of this demo is about destiny and its consequences and are shown through the mirrors and ending commentaries of the character Jero.
The World of Yîara
Yîara is a huge Fantasy World where especially the humans try to find their place. The Story takes place in the City of Anath that is on the northern continent Deru. The city is located in the center of Deru and is surrounded in the north by blazing mountains. In the south there is the desert Evas that reaches from east to west to the oceans Linus and Layla.
Even though the World is very close to the Middle European vegetation, due to a war that took place before the story, the sun isn’t casting any light. Therefore a lot of species have been extinct. Some of them have adapted such as most mammals and birds.
The City of Anath is built into the mountain Anath and has a very stone feeling to it. Different stairs circle around the city to help navigate around. There is no real clean system. The path ways feel somehow chaotic. Netjeri’s Story takes place mostly in a Villa. It is also carved out of the stones of the mountains but has a wooden roof.
Another major part of the city is the academy that is located at the top of Anath. It is clearly the beacon of the city that stands out of all other building and has something mystical yet it has the same humble feel as the rest of the city that is under the protection of its surrounding mountains.
Mages have the ability to move through teleportation across the city and

Destiny is the predetermined course of events considered as something beyond human power or control. Many people think of destiny or fate as unavoidable and bound to happen. They feel there is a specific role chosen for them before birth which they must play, no matter what their personal choice. Some people try to change or alter their destiny by choosing different paths throughout their lives; only to find out the different course of action nonetheless leads them back to the same predetermined fate. No matter what a person does to avoid his or her fate, the certainty of his or her destiny follows through. Henrik Ibsen believes in this theory; he believes that a person’s life is predetermined and that person cannot do anything to change his or her fate. People “can’t get rid” of their already determined destinies (74). Whether it is a character’s prearranged life or just a simple situation, Ibsen incorporates destiny into one of his most memorable plays. In Ghosts, Ibsen proves his theme of inescapable fate.…
