Strategic Plan: Ebola Breakout

Make a brief assessment of the situation by describing the Ebola crisis (is it getting better or worse?) The Ebola outbreak is getting worse. The Ebola disease is spreading to different places and it is all over Africa. The disease keeps being passed through Africa because people get infected and then are scared to go to the hospitals because most people in the hospitals don’t come back so they hide inside their homes and start to infect their family member and then the family members go outside their house and touch things or people and transfer the disease to another person and then the process starts over again and its pretty much a chain reaction. Ebola is getting harder and harder to contain and it just keeps being spread so easily because in the less fortunate parts of Africa, they don’t have that many hospitals for the Ebola patients so they can’t be treated and then people travel there to check out the situation and then travel back to their home place and spread it there and so on.
Which side of the Epidemiologic Triangle do you recommend be broken and why? Explain you answer in detail and include you thought process that led you to you decision. I recommend that we take out the “Agent” side of the Epidemiologic Triangle because that’s where the process all starts. I don’t recommend taking out the “Host” or “Environment” side and that’s because if you take out the “Host” side of the triangle you would be taking out humans and animals and whatever other species are capable of carrying the disease. By taking out that side you would practically be killing people and you can’t just go around and exterminate people because people are the most important thing in a society and if you do that, you would create chaos and people would be furious with you killing their family member or anyone they know. If you were to take out the “Environment” side of the triangle because if you did you would have to pretty much burn everything that any infected person
