Summary
In this paper the copper company Aurubis will be analyzed by using strategic analyzing techniques. Due to the fact that only publicly available information was used, the main focus of the paper is set on immediately recognizable problems. The three problems identified by the authors are: the approaching energy crisis, an excessively high integration as well as the expansion into foreign markets. These problems will be further explained in the text and possible solutions will be shown. In the end there will be a recommendation on how to solve the three above mentioned problems.
