My Personal Strengths and Weaknesses Everyone has their own personal strengths and weaknesses. I believe that life is a learning experience and being able to recognize our own strengths and weaknesses can help us become better individuals. Knowing yourself and what you can do, can help you overcome your weaknesses. One of my greatest strengths that I have recognized is my ability to be a well-organized individual. Being organized has helped me to do well in school and will also help me be a step closer to success in the future. For example, I tend to write all of my assignments and due dates in an agenda and prioritize what is most important to least important. In doing this, it helps me organize and accomplish my work and meet deadlines that are important. Another strength that I am proud of is that I always have a positive attitude. This has helped me make many friends that always stay by me when I need help. Being positive has also helped me be optimistic and motivated me towards success. These strengths shape who I am today and taught me how to be independent. Knowing your weaknesses will help you become a better person because you know what areas you have to work on and can turn them into strengths. Some of my many weaknesses are being impatient and shy to talk in front of a big audience. Being impatient has always been the center point of weaknesses in my life. For example, I always want everything done quickly and I want an answer to a question immediately. I am also shy to talk in front of a big audience because I become nervous that the audience is more focused on me than the way I present the information. These weaknesses will affect me in the future because I want to become a doctor. Therefore, I have to have patience and the ability to talk in front of a group of people. To pursue this career, I will work on my weaknesses and try to turn them into strengths. Each
