Strep Bacteria Strep is a bacteria that attacks your throat to be specific you tonsils and is very good at surviving in the throat that is why people remove there tonsils because if you remove them it’s a very low chance that you get strep. Or it will not be as bad as regular strep. “Some of the symptoms of strep are headaches, sore throat, nausea, cough, sneezing, headaches, swollen lymph nodes, a fever and other cold symptoms” (CDC).
Function

They look like a red ball but in the inside they have ribosomes which make protein and energy. They also have DNA inside that looks like little strings in the middle of the strep bacteria. On the outside it has C5a proease that look like nails. Inside the cell they also have cytoplasm it is a jelly substance like jelly. The bacteria also has a cell wall and cell membrane.
When they reproduce
Treatments can lessen tissue damage from inflammation, lessen pain and other symptoms, and prevent you from getting rheumatic fever again. You can die from rheumatic fever that is how serious it is. The way to identify that you have strep is you can do a test that is quick an easy. There is no way to tell that you have strep because it feels exactly the same. They leave the swabs in a little plastic thing and leave it there and give the patient antibiotics and they call them if they see the bacteria grow they have strep. Strep can take a week to completely get rid of but the antibiotics usually get the strep.
When sick drink plenty of water and take your antibiotics. Ways to try to prevent this disease is to wash hands, drink out of you own glass and clean open cuts. Strep can get to kids between 5 and 15 but adult still can get it. Strep is a bacteria that attacks the throat and to be specific mostly the tonsils. Strep is a very bad sickness and people need to try and prevent
