Through meditation I realized that I can truly relax in a more controlled following manner. Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years. Meditation originally was meant to help deepen understanding of the sacred and mystical forces of life. These days, meditation is commonly used for relaxation and stress reduction. Anyone can practice meditation. It's simple and inexpensive, and it doesn't require any special equipment. And you can practice meditation wherever you are — whether you're out for a walk, riding the bus, waiting at the doctor's office or even in the middle of a difficult business meeting.
When I feel stressed and I just want to take out anger, I play volleyball. As a volleyball player I must make a commitment to work hard on mental games as well as physical ones. I feel like instead of getting upset at others, playing a game I like can help me relax. More than anything it’s an easier way for me to keep calm and get things off my mind. Playing volleyball also allows me to share my problems and let it all out. Since I usually play with my cousin, I am able to take a huge weight off my shoulders without feeling judged.
Music has always appeared to be my way of escaping the world. I feel like I can relate to the different types of music. No matter what I’m feeling, music can speak my words for me. We all realize that the therapeutic effect that music has as and how even the stresses of everyday life seem to dissolve away when we listen to our favorite songs. This therapeutic power of music is used as a
