Stress is good for you
Studies showed that stress is the 15th largest cause of death in the United States. Over the eight year-time period, there had been 82,000 American deaths reported. It costs American industry more than $300 billion annually. Stress could either hit you emotionally, physically or mentally. It’s been believed that stress could lead to bad consequences. As well as health deficiencies like headaches, stroke, diabetes, arthritis, chest pain, depression, cardiac problems and even death. However, stress should not be taken so hardly. People who had gone through numerous stress had a 43% increased of dying, but only if they were to believe that stress is a bad thing, In fact, it can be beneficial for one’s body health.
When a person feels under pressure and feels great tension, stress is precipitated. A typical stress response would involve adrenaline rushing through the bloodstream causing the heart rate to rise. It makes blood vessels constrict which prevents blood pumping freely. To be in this situation regularly is terrible for one’s health, but in a study organized at Harvard, participants involved in a social experiment were told to view stress in a positive way. Encouraging myself that stress is a positive vitality in my life built courage. A person will find calmness in the face of danger and would be able to adapt in certain situations. It gives people energy and strength that can be very useful during criticism. Stress is unavoidable, yet the best thing a person can do is manage it the best possible way. With the right attitude and mindset any stress could be overcome. It might make someone feel vulnerable, but it all depends on how he/she looks at it in terms of good or bad.
