All three of the western religions mentioned have unique struggles that divide the religions and cause some level of conflict. The inward problem within Christianity can be split between two major concerns. The lack of biblical knowledge and the lack of fellowship fellowship are the concern. Aside from culturally based divisions, Judaism’s conflicts seem to stem from the pressures of modern society.
Some Christians do not have the knowledge of the Bible and its use. Not everyone that says they are Christians read the Bible during the week. The Bible is God’s word and the foundation of Christian belief. So many fundamental beliefs are lacking from many Christians. How can those that call themselves
Christians do not even read it then how can they distinguish the biblical truth. In second Timothy 3:18, it is stated that ‘All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. As Christians people always have to strengthen the fellowship with God and among believers. In today lifestyle attendance at church is low compared to the beginning of the religions. The church is where Christians can gather and build fellowship with God and within Christian communities. If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. But if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanse us from all sins (Current Issues 2011). If we have a low percentage of church clearly that Christians are in fact walks in the darkness. Also in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, it is states the importance of the fellowship with believers. By the fellowship with believers, they can support each other up this way they would not be vulnerable against the wrong teachings.
The next issue there is not as many Christians interested in being a witness to others about the truth of the gospel. Jesus had commanded us to become salt and light and Christians sometimes forget that. Many people think that religion is very private so they don’t bother to teach the truth to unbelievers. This is just because individualism and new age movement have rotten Christian mind from being evangelism (Current Issues 2011). That is why it is much needed to prevent those wrong teachings from rotting others mind and go back to the basic teachings of the bible. When we look at the two main issues facing Christianity, it is obviously that Christians have to pray to solve these inward and outward issues. By doing this the religion can build a stronger faith of Christianity and communities. In addition we need to do this so that it can straighten the mistaken view of the Lord, Jesus Christ, to non-Christian people who are influenced from mistaken resources (Current Issues 2011).
The relationship between Christianity and Judaism are very much similar to one another. The most common in the both of them are that Abraham and Moses who have some how had a connection with God. People who were converted left Judaism and join the Christian religion, which began some struggles between the two religions (Current Issues 2011). In Jesus teaching he taught that Israel was a promise of deliverance somewhere in heaven, Judaism actually says that there is a place on earth were they can go right now. People still believe that there will be no hope for a relationship between the two religions. This is because even though they both are similar one believes in happening right here and now and the other believes in going to a better place that does not exist on earth. They can’t be put together without crossing out some of the others religion belief.
