HR Interview Dell Computers Company is an american multinational computer technology corporation that develops, sells, repairs, and supports computers and related products and services. In 1984, the founder Michael Dell, chief executive officer, created PC’s limited while a student of the University of Texas at Austin in his dorm room. Dell Computers does not only sell computers but, laptops and tablets, desktop and all-in-ones, electronic accessories, Alienware, cameras, printers and ink, MP3 players, HDTV’s, monitors, etc. Dell Computers has over 103,000 employees world wide, and is one of the largest technological corporation in the world. The human resource department at Dell computers is global therefore, it is very large. Approximately two hundred employees work just in the human resources department alone. At Dell Computers, in the Management department there are about 3,980 employees. I interviewed Yasmine Mukahal who is a talent acquisition advisor at Dell who works from home. I interviewed Yasmine over Skype, which is what she uses for most of her meetings and conferences. When I first interviewed her, the first thing that caught my attention was her personality. She was very outspoken, outgoing, confident, and energetic. Yasmine’s energetic personality made me feel a lot less nervous and more comfortable about asking her the questions. Yasmine is a member of SHRM-MT (The Society for Human Resource Management, Middle Tennessee) the process of acquiring, training, appraising, and compensating employees, and attending to their labor relations, health and safety, and fairness concerns. Yasmine’s has the position of the vice chair of a leadership development program in Middle Tennessee. She graduated from Riverdale High School in 1997. She attended Middle Tennessee State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business in 2002 with a 4.0 grade point average. The first job opportunity
