Study Local Universities
Looking at the trend recently, most of the students feel that studying abroad is better than studying in local universities. As a saying goes, the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence. However, the students have their own choices either studying in universities abroad or in local universities. They have own reason to study locally or abroad. Both of universities, abroad or local have their own uniqueness. So, we cannot ignore the fact that studying abroad is better than studying in local universities but to study in local also has advantages. In Malaysia, there are many local universities that have a good quality and students have a variety of choice that they can choose. In my opinion, I disagree that studying abroad is better than studying in local universities. This is because studying in local universities can save the cost and it is as good as universities abroad while students who study abroad are exposed to culture shock and they will not have communication barrier.
First, to study in local universities to save costs compared to study at universities abroad. Different countries have different currency rate. Usually, when we change the currency to another currency, the value we will be smaller. So, we need more money to study abroad. Students need a lot of money to pay fees if studying abroad than studying locally. When they study in universities in the United States or the United Kingdom, they also need more money to buy winter clothes for countries different climate. Not only that, as the other is from the country, the higher the price of tickets. So much money is needed to buy tickets to and fro. If they are in cases of emergency, they can not go home immediately because they do not have the money to buy tickets. If studying in countries identified in the event of an emergency we can return

The cat Jasper is a male cat that was given an over-the-counter analgesic which had caused him to keep getting sicker. He is one years old and weighs seven pounds, five ounces. His symptoms included vomiting and having diarrhea for several days. His lab tests showed a metabolic acidosis meaning there was too much acid in his body fluid. This meant Jasper could have been given acetaminophen, aspirin, or ibuprofen. To identify what analgesic Jasper was given we took samples of the different analgesics and crushed them. We used a melting point apparatus to find out what the melting point was and matched it with acetaminophen, aspirin, or ibuprofen. Then we used the Infrared Spectroscopy to determine the function group of the molecules to help us identify which analgesic was used. Between the symptoms, melting point, and results of the infrared spectroscopy we were able to identify what analgesic Jasper ingested.…

Every year, students from all over the world come to America seeking to further their education. The number of foreign students that come to the USA each year has grown significantly in recent years thanks to all the educational opportunities that this country has to offer. First , not all countries provide students with the possibility to fund their college education via scholarships or financial aid. Some institutions in the USA have agreements with foreign high schools to reward their students who graduate with excellent grades by offering to sponsor them in the process of obtaining a student visa that would allow them to come to this country legally and apply for a college education. Another reason why students come to America to study is to please their families. Many parents in some countries feel that a college degree earned in the USA would provide their children with more recognition in their society. Finally, the main reason I think that most international students come to this country is to do more with their lives than they've done so far. Successfully completing a college degree in the USA often puts them in good position for getting a high paying job in their home countries. In conclusion, I think that this country has a lot more to offer in terms of education than most foreign countries, hence the reason why international students come here to…

Evolution is the change in genetic composition of organisms between generations. Evolution is the process that results in organisms becoming more varied and better adapted in comparison to their ancestors. The driving force of evolution is natural selection. Natural selection is the process where individuals containing specific traits become more likely to survive compared to individuals without those traits. Because certain individuals have a greater chance to survive, they become more likely to reproduce yielding offspring that contain the same favored characteristics. As this occurs, the number of individuals with preferred traits become more abundant while the population of individuals without these traits begins to decrease, possibly even reaching the point of complete elimination.…

However, this is an assumption. According to Cleary’s article, there are indeed glaring disadvantages to studying abroad. Firstly, the cost of pursuing higher education overseas is very high. In Australia, the cost alone for an undergraduate degree for international students range from $15k-$30k annually as compared to its fees for local students at $7k-$10k. This is not even including the cost of living the student would incur overseas. The significantly higher fees for international students is definitely a huge factor of how studying abroad may not be the ideal choice for everyone. Furthermore, governments and institutions are starting to implement policies to ensure that local universities still appeal to their locals. This can be seen by student exchange programmes set up where students get to experience education in a different country for one or two semesters while still paying local university fees. Also, most governments subsidise their local students, like in Australia, where the government has schemes called “Higher Education Loan Programme” and “Commonwealth Higher Education Student Support”, which gives out loans to local students and offer subsidies from the government…

Firstly is the advantage of learning in our country is cheap and affordable costs are as low priority fees to local students. This is due to many students choose universities that offer low fees because they can not afford to fund the study. This is shown by Malaysia because Malaysia is not experiencing a seasonal climate and this will add value in terms of financial savings to students because they do not need different clothes according to the season at home in Malaysia. (Professor Badaruddin Mohamed, 2009). It also is in Malaysia, the government has allocated a total of RM232.8 billion for the implementation of all development and welfare of the people.
