Study/Research Objective
“The wise man bridges the gap by planning and laying out the path by means of which he can get from where he is to where he wants to go.” J.P. Morgan
After decades of devastating war a new era has emerged in Afghanistan; education, employment and business opportunities and financial funding have created hopefulness and optimism in people’s minds for the future of the country. I, as an Afghan individual benefiting from this partial stability obtained the opportunity to do my B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering by end of 2013 at Kabul University.
The dependence of the entire world on energy carried by tiny pieces of matter called electrons; and means of supply and utilizing this energy, led me to choose Electrical Engineering as my profession. I wish to further enhance my academic career by getting Master’s Degree in Electrical
Engineering specializing in Power and Energy Systems.
Currently I am working as a VAS Engineer for Afghan Wireless Communication Company
(AWCC), which is the first telecommunication company has established in Afghanistan and has the widest coverage area. Also I am working as a project engineer in a private organization that mostly implements and leads the electrical wiring projects.
Parallel to my studies at university, I worked as an engineer with Roshan Telecom Development
Company (RTDC) almost for one year, and for the first time had an internship with AWCC while
I was a senior student in 2012. My working experience helped me apply the theoretical concepts I learnt at university. Working with these companies provided me the opportunity to directly involve in implementation of several projects.
I believe that my knowledge, experience, and skills make me qualified to pursue my studies in the field of electrical engineering on your institution. I am an engineer by profession, and had studied in the most prestigious school of Afghanistan (Ariana Afghan Turk High
