A Right to Convenience?
Did you know Only 6% of abortions performed today are for health-related problems (“Facts on Abortions”). Abortion is the extraction of a fetus from the womb before it can survive outside of the womb (usually in the first 24 weeks). Abortion to a lot of people is an escape from responsibility. Which is why Abortion should not be readily available to everyone, but instead under the circumstances of how fetus was conceived, and the health issues of soon to be family.

The law itself stated that the single women would say the name of her baby’s father while she was in labor “and the court would automatically believe her” (Farrell pg.19). This practice came from the past days of having a greater risk of dying during birth, and not having c-sections available. Another form of abortion was the use of herbs from midwives for “menstrual blockages” which was the choice of words used by many women in the 1800s trying to keep their abortions on the down low. Most women went to midwives for herbs instead of medical professionals for surgical abortions because often times abortion surgically was the most dangerous method. But basic science will tell you that all you need is a brain and a nervous system to feel pain. And more science will tell you that a baby’s brain and nervous system are one of the first things to develop, just after 4 weeks of conception a baby has started growing its nervous system and brain, that's before most women even know they're pregnant and can schedule an abortion date. Most abortions go by how far along you are in your pregnancy. With some abortions still being allowed at 7 months into the pregnancy. Like the Saline Injections, available 4-7 months into a pregnancy. A lethal salt solution is injected into the baby and it’s will suffer from dehydration & hemorrhaging to the brain.
