I was shocked to discover what had happen to Abercrombie when he was trying to break into the NBA. Tighe writes, “Abercrombie was hammered from behind on his way to the basket. He landed awkwardly and rolled his ankle.” I feel very sorry for Tom, who was having an amazing season before his injury. He was achieving 15 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists per game during that season so it’s obviously sad to see him have his injury. This article made me realise that even the best of players in their respective sports can have a downfall and in Abercrombie’s case, an injury was his downfall. I personally have not had any fatal injuries so I based my assumption on my personal experience. This article made me realise, that things are not always what they seem and that no one is immune to problems. I feel that there are certain people in our society who are too careless with their lives and put themselves and everyone else in a dangerous position. But in Abercrombie’s case, he was unintentionally injured by Take a look at drunk drivers. Although they are intoxicated, they still choose to drive and end up crashing onto something or even worse, someone. If we all took care and have more strategies and plans that will reduce injuries and problems, we might be able to have a safer environment and less tragedies. Despite all the problems we humans face, we always seem to find a way to solve it. But I believe that we shouldn’t let any problems
