Education is known to be one of the most important thing in our lives. Overtime it has shifted to accommodate the new discoveries that have been made. Although education changes for the better, the methods they use to transfer education may not reflect it. In the essay “Bank” of education it is made clear of the flaw in the education system.in Paul Freire’s essay “Banking concept of education” states how the current population education is somewhat limited. Most of the population most likely won’t question what they were taught. I agree with this point because most people don’t even finish school and already start working. Sometimes they don’t bother to go to school at all. So basically I’d say society plays a role in our education as well.

Back in my country the teachers would just slightly talk about the subject for a couple minutes and have them study the whole chapter. It is very difficult for a student to perform well under those conditions. Some students were sometimes overwhelmed by work and unless one of their family members are knowledgeable in the subject they have no chance of passing. Forget about contacting the professor for help in Haiti because they simply do not care. Due to this lack of communication, most of the get set back a year or two and get discouraged about learning.
