This is an example of dramatic irony, this is believed that this stereotype is true completely changes the way she thinks about herself. Chopin changed the way Madame Valmondé thought about herself, when her husband thought that she had not been white when they realized that the baby was not white;although it was not true. Armand had always disliked slaves because, that is what he was told to do all his life. Come to find out that Armand is not entirely white, you can make an inference that his father had an affair with a slave, and didn’t won’t anyone to know so Armand has thought growing up his entire life that he was white. He stereotyped Madame Valmondé for not being white just because the baby did not turn out to be white. Madame Valmondé decided that she would just go, she thought it would be better not to live than upset her husband whom was not entirely white. Some think that just because, you are a teen mom does not mean you can not just be like any other teen mother. A lot of people think just because you have a child as a young adult, that your life is over. It’s not. It’s just begun. Teenage mothers are dropouts are a lot of peoples stereotype against teen mothers. You can manage a child and go to school, yes it would be a lot but you still can manage it.With a good support system and hope in yourself you can finish it. Teenage mothers are less likely to finish high school then a regular teenager.(“Stereotypes”) Teen mothers are single moms. This is not entirely true. You can be a teenage mom and still have the father in your and the child’s life. The father does not always leave, most do yes, but not all. They want to think they can make it in this world, even if that meant having a child at a young age. Theres a lot more stereotypes like teen moms are bad moms, and that their on drugs. You can not judge someone on their age and why they do things. Most teen moms do not mean to get pregnant, but when they do it changes their life for the better. If they was doing something bad before the had the child then it changes their life and makes them want to do better; however on some it does not. We should not stereotype those teen moms who actually are not the bad ones. We should not stereotype them all just for a few bad
