America has been the main source of trading and assistance to other nation, due to its exceptional support and economic stance. However, Trump has believed that the truth of this, is that other nations are using America to weaken them, and therefore has lead to a decision to stop taking care to those oversea. “We’ve made other countries rich while the wealth, strength and confidence of our country has dissipated over the horizon.” Through the use of inclusive language, it acts as an appeal to people’s emotions and allow American citizens to realise the losses of the nations for many decades. Hence, through Trump’s statement, he makes civilians to believe that they are the victims, they have loss and by saving themselves it will make other nations and their nations better. On the other hand, Paul McGeough perspective of the financial issue contradicts with Trump’s perspective of the truth. In which McGeough believes he is, “Ignoring the economic recovery now under way and much that is good about life for many Americans.” Through the use of a concerned tone, he states that America r is in a perfect condition, no changes are required to make the nation better.
