Summary Of Nisekoi: False Love
The book Nisekoi, also known as False Love, is about Raku Ichijo, his life, and the hardships of finding his true love. The story starts out in a field where a small boy and girl is making a promise. The promise is to meet again and get married; the only thing the boy has to remember the girl is a pendant that could be unlocked with a key which the girl kept.
Raku Ichijo's normal day for him becomes a little less normal when a girl named Chitoge Kirisaki lands on him out of nowhere and appears to be his new classmate. Raku and Chitoge immediately do not get along. She becomes very popular though, possibly because she is half-American and half-Japanese. Onodera Kosaki and she are the most popular girls in the school, but Raku has his eyes set only on Onodera and the girl from years ago. Raku hopes that Onodera is the girl he made the promise to; the promise is very important to him and he treasures the pendant he had been given. He cannot remember what the girl looked like or what or name was, but he hoped to meet her again.

Only Ruri Miyayo, Shu Maiko, Onodera, and Chitoge know because they are Raku's friends, or just happened to figure out their

The Love Suicides at Amijima was created during a time period called the Edo Period, this point in history was critical to the different forms of literature and art. There are three stories that I loved in particular during this quarter. The Things They Carried, A Roman Incident, and A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings. These three stories carried a lot of emotion and excitement. They all have different plots and backgrounds, but for the most part, there are so much in common between these three stories in a psychological, socio/political, spiritual, queer, and feminist lens. Besides those examples, the one thing that connects these three the most is that the reader can find love in all of the stories.…

Jane Addams (September 6, 1860 - May 21, 1935) was a pioneer settlement social worker, public philosopher, sociologist, author, and leader in women's suffrage and world peace. In an era when presidents such as Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilsonidentified themselves as reformers and social activists, Adams was one of the most prominent[1] reformers of the Progressive Era. She helped turn the US to issues of concern to mothers, such as the needs of children, public health, and world peace. She said that if women were to be responsible for cleaning up their communities and making them better places to live, they needed the vote to be effective in doing so. Addams became a role model for middle-class women who volunteered to uplift their communities. She is increasingly being recognized as a member of the American pragmatist school of philosophy.[2] In 1931 she became the first American woman to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and is recognized as the "father" of the social work profession in the United States.…

We start the chapter with a description of Parry through Jed “No longer the Indian brave, despite the pony-tail”. McEwan really sets the scene with this as it gives us a clear picture of how Parry actually is. Shortly afterwards Jed’s scientific side comes out as he starts to re-assure himself that Parry is really harmless and that is was the accident that clouded his judgement. We feel a sense of relief as we now are told Parry is not threat as he is a “harmless fellow with a strange notion”.…

    The Chain of Command Concept

For each of the four situations noted, what organizational concepts apply? Identify the concept and explain the related problem. -Two welders, unable to get a decision from their supervisor, requested time off. One welder had a dentist appointment and the other needed to leave early to pick up an anniversary present. The “Chain of Command” concept relates to this problem because the “Chain of Command” carries orderly progressions up and down the chain for both decision making and communication to occur, in this particular situation it is a concern and problem because the line is clearly broken (within the “Chain of Command”) (hierarchy) not allowing for the proper formal decision making process and communication to occur. -A review of the previous day’s shipping log revealed that nothing had been shipped. The reason: a customer had called about a bottom bracket --- the place where the bicycle pedals attach--- which made the customer’s $4,000.00 bike useless. The customer service department had the authority to stop everything to solve the customer’s problem. In this case, it meant turning off the final threading machine for a day, which brought the shipments to a halt. The “Line and Staff” concept would apply the most in this situation because it relates directly with the organizational process to the “staff” department communicating to the “line” (production) department (through advice, service, assistance) instead of the “staff” and “line” working as its own entity so to speak and causing an organization to fail their main objectives. -After little discussion, Korenblat made a decision to redesign the brakes on road bikes, assuming it would be less expensive. Shortly after the first production run began, the person in charge of purchasing insisted on rehashing the decision. It turned out that the new design would lead to a series of new expenses--- adding up to more than…
