Donald Kagan, a scholar who is a teacher and an author, has a very strong opinion of what he believes is patriotism and how to be patriotic. In Kagan’s essay, On Patriotism, he defends his stand and tries to get his point across of what it really means to be patriotic in America, democratic nations, dictatorship economys, Iraq, and so on.
