The book is about a boy who is very lazy. I guess you could call him a slacker. This boy doesn’t do anything, but sit in his room all day, and play video games. He doesn’t play any sports, he’s not in any clubs and he can’t even check on his mother's food while it’s in the oven, resulting in the house almost burning down. You can find all of this and more in the book Slacker, by Gordon Korman. This book is first person point of view, and you get to read how everyone in the story is feeling, not just the main character because you get to have a point of view on all of the characters. It’s a very fast paced 230 paged book, full of entertainment. The book is realistic fiction because all of this could happen in our daily lives.
