In sports, especially the NBA, African American athletes dominate the white athletes. Examples of some famous NBA African American athletes are Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, etc. They are the players that are not only well known in the United States, but also in the World and their achievements are unachievable for any other athletes. Also, their impacts on African Americans are huge too. Because of their impact in the NBA, everyone in the world looks up to them. Wright would write about them because at his time period, everyone looked down on African Americans. African Americans would have never expected that other people would look up to them. Police should be a justice character in the society, but the way they have treated African Americans makes people very mad and changes how people view the police.Wright would write about this because this is a very big problem that the United States should solve. The racial problem will never be solved if police brutality is still occurring unequally between African Americans and other races. This is a very hot topic, which known as “Black Lives Matters”. In the article, “KING: Black Lives Matter opposes police brutality, not police”, written by Shaun King from Daily News on July 19, 2016, King claims that we should all be deeply disturbed by the fact that an unarmed African American man is an astounding seven times more likely to be killed by American police than an unarmed white man. King also claims that the clear majority of American police officers who were shot and killed were shot and killed by angry white men. Conservative outrage was nonexistent because it appears that conservatives are primarily outraged about police being killed when black people kill them.
