dove shall break the cage, And death unleash, through Hera’s rage.
Jason is the son of Jupiter also known as Zeus. The rest of the story is basically Jason, and his friends going on a quest to fulfil the prophecy. The three heros go on a quest to rescue the goddess Hera, who has been captured by Hera’s giant. Leo is the son of Hephaestus, Piper is claimed by Aphrodite, and Leo is the son of Zeus. The two join Leo on his quest. The book in general was very entertaining to read, and kept me engaged. The characters were constantly fighter monsters, and there were many actions scenes. It was hard for me to put down the book once I picked it up. The idea behind the whole entire book was very good and the author's imagination is beyond believable. The author also sets up the setting extremely well and there is no dull moment. It is always full of action, conversations between characters are extremely interesting. I
definitely would recommend this book to others, just because it has something for everyone. It has romance, adventure, mystery, and action scenes. I wouldn’t really say this book has a specific age group, because it's not too violent for kids, and it’s not too boring for adults. Although if I had to put a age group on the book, I would recommend it for kids twelve to eighteen. Rick Riordan in general is a great author. His imagination, and creativity blows my mind. I read this book, because it was recommended to me, and I had read the series before this book. Rick Riordan wrote a book continuing this book, and I would most definitely reading this book. One of my most favorite scenes from the book would be in the beginning, when Jason didn’t know who he was. He didn’t know how he got on the bus or anything. I enjoyed reading this scene, because I can relate. When I was little my parents put me in a car, and took me to Virginia. I wasn’t aware they were taking me, so when I woke up, I didn’t know what was happening. This is another thing I liked about the book, even though it has to deal with monsters and greek mythology, there are still real world applications, and things you can relate too. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book, and it kept me engaged. Greek mythology really fascinates me, and I think if others gave it a try they would also be engaged. The story is part of a series, and I would definitely be reading the other books for the rest of my book reports. This wasn’t like other books I’ve read. It is unique, and that's what I liked about it.
