In the literacy narrative “how do I go from this to this” Amber Wiltse tells about her writing experience in college and how the harry potter series help to draw her family closer together. The pictures that she posted of her when she was little as a baby seems to be saying this is how she started out as a literary writer. Her senior picture shows a completion of something significant on her life. At the end of the story her embracing her brother shows just how much reading can help develop a bond between families. As I was reading this story she said something that sounded just like something I would say “Literacy yeah, it sounds boring but it’s really not.”(Wiltse646) Until I found “Canterwood Crest” series I wasn’t much of a reader at all.…

I liked this novel very much because it shows how precious life is, and that drinking and driving is NEVER a good idea. The story makes me realize that with maturity, comes difficult choices, and you must always be wise. Things like this happen every day and people always think, “Oh it won’t happen to me,” but you never know. I would recommend this book to my friends because I think the story line would influence their choices greatly. I think it would give them a better perspective on making good…

I think it was powerful because Aneta was an orphan and didn't have much but then she opt her family and she had such a big heart and loved Wink so much. At first I thought that I wouldn't like this book and it toulk me forever to get through the first couple chapters. Once I got hang of it I was really into it and I couldn't wait to see what was on the next page. I think that the authors writing is very good and the setting is also good but happy to. It hasn't changed my thinking because I have always thought my dog was my best friend since I opt her up to now, and I love her more than she…

I love the authors writing style in this book. First of all its written as a teenage girls journal so as i reader i get to know everything thats going on for her. I can almost relate because i know i would be going through a lot of the same issues as her. I also like how it dosnt focuse on a big group people so its easy to keep track of everyone and everything that is going on. In some parts it was a little unbelivable like when they went to the grocery store how could everything fit into there car with four other people in the car too. Im glad she put in the part about the stores though because it was intesersting like i could imagane all the chaos and frenzey of everyone running around trying to get what they might need and not know how long they would be in this situation.…

It had humor, real life events, sadness, and suspense. I would most definitely recommend this novel to someone because although it’s very long, you won’t want to stop reading it. This book will make you wonder, cry, even laugh. It’s a book that I think had great meaning and was put together very well. In my opinion, there is no flaws about this book except how long it is.…

The author also did a great job with characterization, He wrote about one main character but he also highly developed the secondary characters such as Jobell, Cal, Sparrow, Sweeny, and Kemp. Having now finished the story, i would like to say that my overall impression about the book hasn't changed much, it was still a dry and boring book with a plot line that didn't seem to climax much at all but instead had a steady pace with a litte bump here or there. Many will say that they hated the end of the book but I think the book was ended like that with a certain purpose in mind, to make us think what was this book about and why did it end like this?…

I thought the writer had a really good flow of style and expressed herself really well, especially with the storyline. It was a great story overall, the writer was very graphic with her words and it kind of made me feel like I was there re-living that moment with her. Her style was cool and she built up the story with conflict. The suspense was awesome because she made it feel like it was going to be good from the start to the end, but then I felt the tension when things became dark and muggy. The argumentation was written well and the story ended on a good note. The writer wrote for her people and you could literally…
