MUSIC MAKERS: Explanation of the Project

The project I’ve chose is music makers. Music is a form of art and deals with expressions. The quote by Eminem explains how important music is, which is "You better lose yourself, In the music ,The moment, You own it, You better never let it go, You only get one shot, Do not miss your chance to blow, This opportunity comes, Once in a lifetime". Music can express any type of feelings you have. Music is an art of sound and elements of rhythm, melody, harmony and color. All the songs chosen are a type of rock and express a lot of feelings. You listen to the type of music you’re listening to depending on your situation or mental thoughts. I chose the songs I chose depending on Max’s situation or mental thoughts.

“Obliviate” by Alexandre Desplat (NO LYRICS)

The song “Obliviate” shows the fight between the flock and the erasers. The sound and the instrumental music just basically describes a fight that is going on. The climax shows when Fang gets injured. The finishing of the song gives you an idea about him being treated safely at a hospital. The music starts off quiet and then gets louder and louder making it seem like a fight is about to start.

"You Found Me” by The Fray

[Verse 1]
I found God
On the corner of First and Amistad
Where the west
Was all but won
All alone
Smoking his last cigarette
I said, "Where you been?"
He said, "Ask anything".
[Verse 2]
Where were you
When everything was falling apart?
All my days
Were spent by the telephone
That never rang
And all I needed was a call
That never came
To the corner of First and Amistad
[Chorus 1]
Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin' on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait?
Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me
[Verse 3]
In the end
Everyone ends up alone
Losing her
The only one who's ever known
Who I am
Who I'm not, who I wanna be
No way to know
How long

Hibernation is one of the main adjustments that allow certain northern animals to survive in long winters, cold winters. Hibernation is like a very deep sleep that allows animals to save their energy when there is little or no food available. The body functions of ‘true hibernators’ go through several changes while they are hibernating. The body temperature drops and the heart rate slows down. True hibernators include the jumping mouse, little brown bat, eastern chipmunk and several ground squirrels. Other animals such as the skunk and raccoon are not considered true hibernators as they wake up in the winter and their body functions do not change…

Operant Conditioning molds behavior by the consequences of an individual through punishment, reinforcement and extinction. Observational Learning happens from observing the behavior of other individuals. Social Learning is a behavior learned from a social environment. Prejudice is developed and nurture through classical and operant conditioning from an early age when an individual acts prejudice towards something and is rewarded for acting in such a way or saying such things. For example A parent, say father, says (and please do not take offence towards this it is only an example!) “Stupid wet-back, they’re no good for anything but taking our jobs!” a son or daughter will learn that this is applicable behavior. Then when the child, son or daughter, says something along the same lines around his or her father the father would agree, laugh or show affection towards the child’s comment. Thus the behavior is not being corrected allowing the ignorant behavior to continue. For my presentation I would use Rhyme-keys and Loci Method to help me remember notes and slides. I would Use Rhyme-keys for myself on key words in the slides to help me remember key ideas with Loci Method with pictures and diagrams in the slides to better help my memory. For example if I had a slide on the marketing sale rates on, say computers being sold I would use a graph with percentages over time with a scale on sale rate, I would use key words to explain the key points for why there is a clime or fall in sales. Cognitive, physiological, and behavioral are the three qualities. Cognitive is a mental process that involves memory, attention, understanding language, producing language, reasoning, problem solving and decision making. Physiological deals with the understanding of one’s own body, hygiene and appearance. Emotional is in regards to self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills. If I were interviewing applicants for a position in my company I…

The hardest part of making the project was really improvising and improving our song to make sense and sound right. In order to write a song, we had to have some inspiration. We got our inspiration by listening to other songs and taking just a little bit from each one and fit it all together to make one tune in which we used for our song. I’m really not sure if were going to be writing anymore songs in the future, but we’re up for the challenge. There are positives sides and negative sides in writing a song. One of the positive factors in writing a song is that we get the full experience that professionals have. Our group has realized that this is an opportunity you can’t let down. To be a part of this has…
