Video games has become a big part of a child’s everyday life, and a very common hobby. As the demand for video games increase, so does the violence depicted in them. Children being exposed to virtual reality violence every day could possibly change a child’s empathy levels, especially by the type of characters they play as. This article studies the effects on empathy on video gamers rather they play the good guy vs. the bad guy and how that effects their empathy levels in the real world.
