“SUPER SIZE ME”
Super-Size Me is a perfect movie to watch to understand the benefits and harms of certain eating habits. It teaches us about the dangers of fast food and it also explains what foods to eat, how much of those foods, and ways to maintain a healthy weight. When I first heard of the movie I thought what could go wrong he’s eating 3 meals a day he has no health problems how bad could it be but I was totally wrong.
Morgan Spurlock challenged his self to eat Mc Donald’s for breakfast lunch and dinner for thirty days and see how the fast food would affect his health. Over time Morgan's weight dramatically increases, his health weakened and he begins to show signs of depression. Morgan at 6 foot 2 inches, 185lbs, and 11% body fat was fit and lean at the start the month. After 30 days Morgan has gained 24.5lbs and increased his body fat by 7%, concluding that such an extreme diet really can be hazardous to your health. …show more content…
