The Dream is built on, as said by Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence, the ideals of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” All white supremacists, whether violent or not, hinder that practice of that philosophy to an insurmountable number of Americans. By believing that your race is better than any other or that you deserve more rights and then working towards making that a reality limits the promise of equality found in the American Dream.
