At the end of 2013, there were about 16.7 million refugees. With 50% of the refugees under 18. Most of them were just six or seven years old when they were forced to leave their homes to camps. It would take a really strong person to pull through. That's why i feel, Salva had many helpful traits, such as his positive attitude, mental toughness, and motivation. Salva had a positive attitude which was helpful at many times. For example.. Salva’s positive attitude was helpful to people in his later life.By organizing a project to help with water. Also he had a positive attitude about his situation. Meaning he rarely if ever complained.
Salva had great
motivation, and drive to continue. Proof of Salva’s great motivation is how he kept moving when it was hot outside. Which proves motivation and drive. But also, Salva had great motivation because it was a long way to Ethiopia. Yet Salva kept on going with his journey.
Salva’s mental toughness was advanced, i think. I feel it was advanced because i wouldn't be able to pull through the tough times. Also he didn't know if his family was safe but he kept going on with life. Yet another reason his mental toughness was advanced is he knew enough not to act up around the adults walking with him. No one told Salva how to behave, he figured it out.
