Skills to survive There are many skills that would be needed to survive on an uninhabited island. The difficulty of surviving would be lessened if a person had the knowledge in hunting, building shelters, and first aid. Hunting is important because this skill will keep people from starvation. Knowing the difference between what animals and plants are a good food source and which animals and plants can harm a persons’ body can save or kill a person. Being able to build a sturdy shelter is important, whether it is raining or extremely hot. Gathering sticks, thick plants, tree branches, and any type of wood is an easy job, however figuring out how to keep it in place can get tricky. Being stranded on an uninhabited island is bound to some sort of injury. Knowing first aid skills can benefit any injury a person can be faced with, from a simple scrap to a broken bone. An island that a person is stranded on seems unlivable, but knowing these simple skills; hunting, building shelter, and first aid, will help an uninhabited situation. This was a good paper it was on survival skills. I hope you enjoy it. I learned all of these survival skills on my own when I was at camp we were taught all of these skills even how to build a tent. I am just the coolest person ever that is why I know how to survive on my own.
