Suspense Film 'In Their Sleep'
In the suspense movie, “Dans ton sommeil (In Their Sleep)”, Sarah and her husband moved to the country in a house when Sarah’s young son Loic dies. A year later, Sarah is still mourning the death of her son. A year later, Sarah lives alone in the house; and works long hours. One night at Haguenau Hospital, she is sent home at 2 AM, because for giving a patient too much medication. After leaving her job Sarah is pulled over by a police officer and warned that three houses in the area was burglarized. Shortly after speaking with the police Sarah is flagged down by a young wounded man who looks like her son. The young man identifies himself as Arthur to Sarah. Arthur tells Sarah he caught a burglar in his home and the burglar was chasing him.
Sarah gives Arthur a ride and they get into a high speed chase. After they lose the vehicle Arthur tells Sarah to bring him to his house. Sarah brings him home and notices pictures in the house, but Arthur isn’t in any of the pictures. Arthurs tells Sarah he always takes the pictures that’s why he’s not in any of the family photos. Sarah eventually notices something isn’t right with Arthur story, but she still decides to stay with him because he reminds her of her son. Sarah stays with Arthur and sleeps with him at the house. The next day Sarah finds pictures of a family. While driving Sarah tells Arthur she called the police about the burglar chasing after him. Sarah and Arthur then gets into a car accident, and she has a dream while being passed out. Arthur eventually discloses to Sarah that he was burglarizing the man chasing him, house. Arthur tells Sarah he thought the family which lived in the house was on vacation; he continues, by telling her while he was stealing in the house he fell over a little girl’s dead, he then said he panicked, and he said the man chasing him must’ve heard him in the house because he appeared with a bloody knife. Sarah eventually finds out Arthur hasn’t been telling the truth; however, she feels sorry for him because he reminds her of Loic.
