Suspense In Lamb To The Slaughter
Introduction:
• Topic sentence:There are so many reasons why "The landlady"and “"Lamb to the Slaughter"”create suspense.They play important roles in the stories one is a murder and another wants certain men.These roles create suspense and will tell the author what is going on in the story.
Summary of both stories : In lamb to the slaughter Mary kills her husband,Patrik,because she wants to be with him because him and Mary are having a child.As Mary hits patrick with the lamb Mary tries to hide the weapon by putting it in the oven.She calls the detective and they try to find the murderer and the weapon,but which of course its the lamb as the weapon.In the landlady its about a boy called Billy weaver and he is trying to be a buissnes man as he wonders in the town a bath.He finds a place to stay called the bed and brakefast there is a old landlady who invites Billy,to stay with her as he gets invited in the house he finds things diffrent than a reagular motel no coats nor hats.
