The Naelia-ath-Narilla, which translates to 'A Story about Narilla', is an account written by the Faeyran writer Syjaer the Old, who lived in the regions east of Farae. Syjaer lived from 4E 56 to approximately 4E 268, and was skilled in Magic nor archery. It is believed that Syjaer was therefore exiled, and he begun travelling the world in an effort to write the most complete historical work written so far, for he had always been fascinated by tales of days long passed. During his travels, he was accompanied by his wife Jalaya, who thereby voluntarily exiled herself as well, for the love between them was great.

This journey took less than a week, for they were accompanied by swift horses taken in Maela. Syjaer and Jalaya remained in Brobrak for over three months and learned much about the province of Petkor, the Prazznak, and the cities of Brobrak, Kraz, and Grok. Syjaer then took Grymion with him as a companion, and the two sailed to Haniria, from whence Grymion hailed. They first journeyed to Kaelahr in the Goldtooth Hills, where they stayed for a month. They then went to Narrock, and to Brenton through the Jaenar Forest. Syjaer was happily welcomed at the Royal Court of Brenton, and stayed there for 6 months with Grymion. During this time, he wrote the sixth part of the Naelia-ath-Narilla, containing lore on Haniria, the Hanir, the cities of Kaelahr, Narrock, and Brenton, and the Spymaster's Guild.
