An example of this is, Google Docs. This program was created from and for the internet. It has become a tool within a tool and is used by the masses of today. We are very fortunate to be given this gift, but it is a double-edged sword. With so many active users, there are those who are bound to do wrong with it. According to (“School Bullying Statistics - Bullying Statistics”), a common wrong done in the American Education System is cyber bullying. Cyber bullying has been easier than ever. With the availability of portable devices, one student may cyberbully another student while in class without a word being spoken. Immediately, the victim will we put out of their comfort zone. This is such an easily accessible and large issue that it can and will ruin the next generation. That next generation is our future, then their future, then their children’s future. Actions now, can and will affect events and choices made in the future. The 2013-2014 Student Crime Supplement (National Center for Education and Bureau of Justice Statistics) indicates that 7% of students in grades 6-12 experienced cyberbullying. Also the 2013 Youth Risk Surveillance Survey finds that 15% students in high school were electronically bullied in the past year. These statistics are honestly ridiculous, they should be 0% ideally.
