T-Bone: Summary And Symbolism

Your story is about a woman named Grace who is a Zombie. She took a trip to the Bahamas and came back to America as a zombie some months ago. We learn this gradually throughout the story, so that was nice to be shown her world and her life a bit without you just telling us about it in a big info dump. She kills the men she dates, but she has her limits and things she won’t do for moral reasons. The story centers on her conflicting emotions with her latest date, Marcus. He has a dog, and one of Grace’s rules is that she won’t eat a dog. So the story is basically her trying to find the right time to kill Marcus where his dog won’t interfere. Grace likes the dog, and she wants a dog, so she feels guilty about trying to take Marcus away from T-Bone, because where will that leave T-Bone. I really liked the story. I like how you capture the reader’s attention from the start with the opening statement about zombies and eating people’s brains. I love the details about the character’s surroundings. For
I’m not sure if that was made very clear. I completely got that the reason she was hesitant to kill someone in this instance was because of the dog, but how did she come to terms with eating people in general? From the story, I gathered that it wasn’t that long ago that she became a zombie, and Marcus was her eleventh kill, but was she so used to it by now? Was it hard for her to accept that she was a zombie and feeding off of people was her life now? I think I would have liked a little more about this in the story just so I can get a better understanding of who Grace is. The part of the story that addresses her finding out she was a zombie, could have been a good spot to bring up how she came to terms with actually being a zombie.
