1.1 Profile of Tan Sri Dato Seri (Dr.) Lim Goh Tong He is born in 28th February 1918 in Anxi and died on 23rd October 2007 in Subang Jaya at the age of 89. Tan Sri Dato Seri (Dr.) Lim Goh Tong was the fifth child in his family. Lim was born into a rustic environment in a village, during that time, China was in a period of turmoil and unrest after the 1911 revolution, but life was relatively sheltered for Lim in the village. He grew up peacefully and had the opportunity of studying in school. However, disaster struck and his father died when he was 16. Lim was forced to leave school and he and his elder brother had to take over the heavy burden of feeding his family. As China 's situation was becoming worse, Lim Goh Tong decided to take the plunge in venturing out to Malaysia(known as Malaya at that time) following his cousin, Lim Kheng Chong 's footstep. He left China through Xiamen in early February 1937 at the age of 19. He worked for his uncle as a carpenter in the first two years, learning the Malay language in the meantime. After gaining experience he went on to become a building sub-contractor and completed his first job of building a two-storey school. He returned to Anxi in 1940, but went back to Malaya

Pottery and ceramic have profound relationships with China, even the ceramic can presents China. The development of pottery has a significant impact on human culture, I really like the pottery and glaze called “Horse” which found in mid-8th century. It is a kind of handmade glazed work of exquisite craftsmanship. From the art history class, I know some of the potteries were made in a low-temperature and added lead-glazed. Then people mixed different metal oxides after calcination. That is why the pottery looks like pale yellow, sienna and brown. That is similar series of Tang tricolor of China that left me a deep expression in my childhood when I took a study trip to Luoyang. The series of tricolor horse is colorful. Generally, It can be made as animal, tools and characters. That is related to the history of China. Ancient people used horses as an important transportation tool. Because farmer needed horse to plow the field, army needed horse during the war, and people delivered mails and messages by horse. The shapes of horse unearthed more. Secondly, I saw the shapes of camel. That is related to trade in ancient time. Camels trekked as transportation along the Silk Road. According to the note, we know pottery horses were used in the tomb as the symbol of wealth. The natural postures of horses reflects changes from preceding dynastic traditions.I also saw animal shape potteries nearby. The pottery absorbed the advantages of Chinese painting, sculpture and carving. It features animal figures, exquisite techs, carving traces and smooth lines. We can see the high quality craft in…

In front of the great pearly white gates stood a young boy by the name of Conradin. I knew of him, and had been debating as to what to do about him for a long time now. His case was rather peculiar, not like many I've seen before. Oh what to do, what to do, (I wouldn’t want this decision to haunt me for the rest of eternity) Wait I'm getting ahead of myself my name is St.Peter. I'm one of the twelve apostles of Jesus. I stand at the pearly gates deciding whether you go to heaven or hell (what a job, huh?).…
